The media profoundly shapes people's judgment and thinking. Is what we believe truly an objective reality? The media is fostering the spread of discrimination and violence.
The spread of the coronavirus acts like a mirror, reflecting both the good and the bad in this world. Many media outlets reported on the outbreak of the coronavirus and labeled it as "Made in China." These public opinions led to discrimination, followed by incidents where Asians were attacked in Italy and Berlin. This work is divided into two parts: one focuses on installation design, and the other on infographic design.
Installation Design: BLINDNESS
This part of the work is called "Blindness" by me. That is why I created this installation to reflect the media reports. It demonstrates how people lose their ability to think independently. At the same time, I hope that the media will take on more social responsibility and help create a peaceful and fair social environment.
